She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gimera and Irene Bedlovitz Gimera; her former husband Leonard J. Lewand; her husband John Thomas Petruna, Jr.; her brother George Gimera; and her son Leonard Lewand.
She is survived by: her sons, Lee Lewand (Stephanie) of Pittsburgh and Lance Lewand (Lisa) of Boston, MA; her grandchildren, Alycia Lewand, Leonard Lewand, Nathanial Lewand, Jacob Lewand (Tia), Riley Lewand, Taylor Lewand, Julia Lewand, Ramsey Lewand and Christian Lewand; and her sisters, Mary Irene Mrazik (Ray) of Forest Hills and Madeline Keane (Jack) of North Huntingdon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Sunday, October 11, 2020 from 4:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. Per Governor Wolf, social distancing, masks, and a limited number of people in the facility will be followed.
