He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Nagy and Anna Skalski Nagy; his spouse I. Jean Shearer Nagy; his son Joseph Scott Nagy; and his brother James Nagy.
He is survived by: his children, Patti Simko (Bill) of North Huntingdon and Ronald Nagy of Phillipsburg, KS; and his brothers, John Nagy (Marcie) of Port Vue and Gerald Nagy of Port Vue. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
