With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Ivaska (White, Pennsylvania), born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jozef Ivaska and Emelia Ivaska (Ursin); his former wife Lynne Ivaska (Warren); his daughters, Jennifer Ferris and Tracey Holtzman; and his siblings, Joseph, Albert, Walter Ivaska, Emily Dewyer and Anna Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn L. Ivaska (Cannon); his children, Suzanne Wilhelm (Mark) of White Oak and William Mellinger of White Oak; his son-in-law Steve Ferris of Belle Vernon; his siblings, Irene Kalman of West Chester and Larry Ivaska (late Nancy) of Fayetteville, GA; his grandchildren, Emma, Stephen, Ethan Wilhelm, Jessica Ferris, Regis, William, Andrew Mellinger, Danielle Chorik and Kaylee Holtzman; and his great grandchildren, Maddie and Molly Chorik. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
