It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Steele of White, Pennsylvania, born in Madison, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sterner and Pauline Sterner (Gaffney); her husband Harry Edward Steele; her son Thomas Edward Steele; and her siblings, Wendall, Herb Stern, Donna Peat and Kay Byers.
She is survived by: her children, Harry Stephen Steele (Charlene), Patricia Ann Sackandy (Augustus) and Mark Charles Steele (Debbie). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
