He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Valt and Eleana Valt (DiBasio); his wife Geraldine Valt (Thomas); his sister Aurora Deventura; and his niece Denise Golling.
He is survived by: his nieces, Lenore Lasowecky (Donald) and Jeanne Lopez (Steve Rudi); his nephew Charles 'Chuck' Deventura (Kristi); and his stepchildren, Edward Petrovay (Cheryl), David Petrovay (Ron), Betsy Kelley (late John) and Daniel Petrovay (Beverly). He is also survived by 6 great-nieces and great-nephews and 5 step-grandchildren.
