He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Berger and Missouri Mae Berger; his former wife Genevieve; his children, Timothy and Amy; and his brothers, Melvin, Harold, Vernon, Archie, Denver, Herman and Dwaine.
He is survived by: his child Nancy Marlene; and his grandchildren, Christopher Berger (Nikki), Dana Keck (Warren), Tammy Cross (Rick) and William Berger (Susan).
