He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Funk and Agnes Funk (Manns); his wife Patricia Funk (Dancak); his daughter Cindy Funk Bates; and his brother David Funk (late Barbara).
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Funk (Kirsten Pastrick) of North Huntingdon and Diane Mills (Peter) of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Jim Bates (Tiffany) of Grindstone, Amie Mills Odom (Kevin) and Claire Mills Mulholland (Blake) of Cape Coral, FL; his great grandchildren, Sophia Mae Bates and Olivia Mulholland; his sister-in-law Alberta "Bertie" Webb (late Rich) of West Mifflin; and his caregivers, Linda, Flo and Alyssa. He is also survived by nephews; great nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
