Marshall B. Swauger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marshall B. Swauger of White Oak, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Sr. Swauger and Sadie Mae Swauger (Thornton); his wife Joan Swauger (Barry); his son Jerry Swauger; his granddaughter Jessica Gordon; and his siblings, Robert Swauger, Majorie Starmack, Tom Swauger and Sally Lesniewski.
He is survived by: his daughter Marsha Lockhart (Swauger); his daughter-in-law Karen Almquist (Ken); his grandchildren, Wendy Ursiny and Sean Gordon (Sara); and his great grandchildren, Lucas Sige, Joshua Sige, Emma Ursiny, Jerry Gordon and Connor Gordon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory (2703 Oneil Blvd, McKeesport, PA 15132). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home Chapel (2703 Oneil Blvd, McKeesport, PA 15132). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mount Vernon Cemetery (2300 Greenock Buena Vista Rd, McKeesport, PA 15135).
