She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Bell and Margaret Bell; her former husband Dr. Charles Provan; her husband Michael Matievich; her son Charles D. Provan; her grandchild Matthias Provan; her son-in-law Kenneth Sears; and her brothers, Rollin and Jack Bell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Sears, Margaret "Peggy" Josefczyk (Gary) and Diane Elizabeth Provan; her sister Donna McClure (Thomas); her children-in-law, Dr. Matthew Logan and Carol Provan; and her grandchildren, Nathanael, Susanna, Tabitha, Josiah, Tobias, Nicholas, Joanna, Katurah, Gideon Provan, David, Michael, Melissa Sears, Julie, Suzanne and Jesse Logan. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
