He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Baker and Josephine Baker. He is survived by: his sons, Neal R. Baker (Kelsey) and Brian N. Baker (Rachel); his sister Rita Baker-Marsh; his sister-in-law Christine Collins; and also Kathy Collins Baker. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the diabetes foundation.
