He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pierce, Sr. and Agatha Pierce (Vickers); his wife Eileen A. Pierce (Johnson); and his brothers, Raymond, Bill "Sonny" and Clyde "Bud" Pierce.
He is survived by: his daughters, Coleen Tokosh (David Christopher) of White Oak and Laura Klimek (William) of Elizabeth Twp; his grandsons, John Tokosh IV (Kristen Bellay), Dr. Joseph Tokosh (Aleah), Daniel Klimek, Brian Kwiecinski and Chad Biagini; his sisters, Roberta Pierce of Glassport, Mary Price, Margaret "Peg" Norelli (Angelo) of Glassport and Patricia Pierce of Liberty Boro; and his sister-in-law Marlene "Jeanie" Hayes of McKeesport. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
