It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Ann Firda of White Oak, Pennsylvania, born in Braddock, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Girman and Anna Girman (Lesniak); her husband Robert J. Firda; her children, Elaine M. Firda Baldosky Baker and Gerald M. Firda; her granddaughter Taylor Ann Nestor; and her siblings, Joseph Girman and Annette Girman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert M. Firda (Barbara), Richard A. Firda, Gary D. Firda (Cynthia), David B. Firda (Cynthia) and Cheryl Firda Nestor (Todd); her daughter-in-law Diana Firda; and her grandchildren, Amy Jo, Michael, Heidi, Megan, Kristy, Kelly, Kerry, Matthew, Nichole, Tiffany and Madison. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
