With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice G. Saxon of White Oak, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lauren and Helen Virginia Groves (Burgh). She is survived by: her husband Roy N. "Buzz" Saxon; her children, Scott D. Saxon (Deanna) of Cape Coral, FL, Timothy L. Saxon (Rochelle) of Summerville, SC and Meghan Cottom (Jared) of Collier Township; her grandchildren, Parker, Mikayla, Alice of Anna, TJ, Joshua and Isaac; and her brother Lloyd Groves. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. (1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Evangelical Free Church (4001 University Dr, White Oak, PA 15131).
