He is survived by: his parent Dolores Bidwell Batzel of Waymart; his sons, Matthew Batzel of Ridgeway, PA and Brett Batzel of Damascus; his stepchildren, Amanda Batzel of Honesdale and David Batzel of New Brunswick, NJ; his siblings, Kenneth Batzel (Cindy) of Honesdale, Mike Batzel (Marissa) of Honesdale, Max Batzel of Prompton, Wanda Smith of St. Clair, PA and Kolleen Boots of White Mills; and his friend Ronnie Bollock. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
