He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. "Beaver" and Bernice G. Meixell Gower; and his nephew Joshua Donald Gower. He is survived by: his wife Mary Minnie Brandmier Gower; his daughters, Kathy Marie Farrell (Christopher) of Schwenksville and Karen Lucy Aho (Karl) of Stephenville, TX; his grandchildren, Allison, Ryan, Courage and Natalynn; his brother Damar Gower (Christine) of White Haven; his aunts, Belva Meckes and Pearl "Chickie" Gower; and his uncle Edgar "Doc" Gower, Sr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the White Haven Ambulance Association.
