He is survived by: his wife Dawn L. Steward; his sons, Richard Jr. (Cheri), Sandy Valley, Randall-Hazleton and Rodney-Eagle Rock; his siblings, Gerald (Polly) of White Haven, William (Karen) of White Haven and Jean Wilkinson-Weatherly; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Alyssa, Kayden and Gage.
