He is survived by: his wife Gloria Remak Ackerman; and his stepchildren, Donna Hinton (Andrew), Linda Wentzel (Mark), Lisa Fisher, George Fisher (Amanda Delano), David Fisher (Jayne) of Drums and Thomas Fisher (Betty Jane) of Weatherly. He is also survived by 9 step grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
