It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Benfer (White Deer, Pennsylvania), born in Watsontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 15, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis E. Benfer and Helen E. Benfer (Yeager); his siblings, Edward M. Benfer, Clarence Benfer, Nancy Ann Barnwell, Jane Mahoney and Sally Jordan; and his niece Cindy Danowsky.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kandy Gardner (John) of Baltimore, MD and Ruth Ann Benfer of Springdale, OH; his grandchildren, Jason Gardner, Nicholas Gardner (Chelsea Schott), Riley Hinkley and Mallory Hinkley; his sister Linda Danowsky of Milton; and his great-niece Nephews.
