It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard S. Powell Sr. (Wheatland, Pennsylvania), born in Bethel, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Powell and Marcella Powell (Morgan). He is survived by: his spouse Hiroko Shimodaira; his children, Candice J. Powell, Darla Hosack (Joseph Huffman), Wesley Powell (Daphne) of San Marcos, CA and Gene Powell of Essex, MD; his siblings, Mary Ann Watson of Moore, OK, Frank Powell (Judy), Raymond Baker and Kenneth Baker; and his grandchildren, Rodney, John, Dana, Amanda, Richard, Thomas, Danielle, Johannes, Julia, Christina and Marissa. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
