He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Richter and Grace Richter (Oswald); and his sisters, Carol, Grace and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Richter (Ehlers); his children, Sandra, William (Mary) and Mark; his brothers, James (Colleen) and Thomas (Lynn); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Joshua and Cassandra. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
