She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Holmes and Elsie Holmes (Gummerson); her husband John R. Strickler; her daughter Barbara (Mike Peshkin); and her grandson Daniel Strickler, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Strickler (Joyce Vickless) and Thomas Strickler (Lauren Austin); her grandchildren, Alaina (Evan), Chelsea, Kristen, David and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Karen, Bradley, Raelynn and Keaton.
