She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John Wachter; and her parents, Edward Haberman and Rosemary Haberman (Funk). She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly McShea (Peter) and Emily Lachendro (David); her grandsons, Eddie, Dave, Thomas, Everett, Lanie and Jax; her siblings, Janet Stypula (Michael), Patricia Edwards (Jack), Timothy Haberman (Maureen), Charlotte Zilavy (Mark) and Paul Haberman (Susan); and her siblings-in-law, Donna Lempke (Michael) and William Wachter (Gina). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the Richard S. Caliguiri Fund of the Pittsburgh Foundation for amyloidosis research.
