She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph W. Whitcomb and Velma Jeanette Whitcomb (Guernsey); and her brother Gary Whitcomb. She is survived by: her friend Mary Ann Franchak of Wexford, Pennsylvania; her sister-in-law Connie Whitcomb of Greenville; her nieces, Julie Ross of Angola, Natalie Rizzo (Joseph) of Simpsonville and Leslie Kucsinkas (Michael) of Saline, Michigan; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh Ross, Nathan Ross, Anthony Rizzo, Monica Rizzo, Sofie Kucsinkas and Amanda Kucsinkas.

Memorial donations in her memory may be directed to the Orland Fire and Rescue.
