She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Helen Meckler; her children, Julia McNearney (David), Jason Meckler (Hollie) and Randy Meckler (Alicia); her sibling Vivian Koch (Ed); her granddaughters, Anna, Luna, Scarlett and Violet; her parents, Karl Bernd and Helene Bernd; her husband Lawrence Shallenberger; her children, Curtis Shallenberger (Suzanne) of Beaver Falls and Caryn McMarlin (Will) of Pittsburgh; her sister Amelia Bernd; her grandchildren, Justin (Mindie), Kerry, Colin McMarlin (Sarah) and Leah Shallenberger; and her great grandchildren, Elora, Natalie and Danielle McMarlin. She was also cherished by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
