She was predeceased by: her parents, Mariah "Dot" Jemison and Deacon David Jemison; and her siblings, Ann Graves (Alvin), Rose Marie Wallace, Mary Ella Kemp, Evangelist Frances Johnson, Joseph, David and Samuel Jemison.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Kemp, Sr.; her children, Louis Raymond Kemp, Sr. of Westland, Valerie Ivery (Harold) of Canonsburg, Overseer Freda Thorpe (Eugene) of Cape Canaveral, FL, Commodore Perry Kemp of Duluth, GA, Elaine McCullough (David) of Charlotte, NC. and Debbie Lynn; and her grandson Robby Clemons. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
