With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary L. Brooks of Westfield, Pennsylvania, born in Cowanesque, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 14, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Patrick and Martha May Brown McLaughlin; and her brothers, Rudy W. McLaughlin, Charles McLaughlin and Frank McLaughlin.

She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Brooks; her siblings, Sandra Barriault (Robert) of Conway, NH, Theresia Franklin (James) of Sayre, Cynthia McLaughlin of Cowanesque, Susan Hamill (Joseph) of Endicott, NY, John McLaughlin (Lynn) of Cheyenne, WY and Tom McLaughlin (Sonia) of Galveston, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Carol McLaughlin of Shamokin Dam, Brenda and Bruce Matis of Elkland.

Memorials may be made to Westfield Public Library, 147 Maple Street, Westfield, PA 16950 or a charity of the donor's choice.
