With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis R. DeMonte Sr. of Westfield, Pennsylvania, born in Dagus Mines, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest DeMonte and Alice DeMonte (Betta); and his sister Sylvia Cleaver. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann; his children, Lisa Meachem, Louis (Katie DeMonte, Jr.), Ernie (Maryjayne DeMonte) and Joe (Deborah DeMonte); his grandchildren, Dennis, Michelle Ackley, Tom Ackley, Danielle, Brendan McGaha, Brittney, Drew Cipolla, Emily, Jason, Melissa, Elizabeth, Halie, Kayla, Abigail, Angela, Joey, Desiree and Christian Hage; and his siblings, Beno DeMonte and Elda Carpin. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
