With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Judith E. Metcalf-Backer of Westfield, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leland A. "Pete" Cary and Willa M. Parsons Cary; her former husband John R. Metcalf; her husband Donald L. Backer; her children, Fred Metcalf and Claudia Metcalf; her stepchildren, Lee Ann Johnson, Scott Backer (Suzanne) and Debi Backer; her sisters, Willa Jean Lambert (Ken), Carol Brezowski and Debra Jo Seeley (Clyde Sr.); her aunt Emily "Jeanie" Pfuntner; and her brothers, David "Bud" Cary and Merle E. "Mike" Cary.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar People's Church of Potter Brook (62 Rte 49, Westfield, PA 16950). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
