He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Stalter (Walsh) and Regis Stalter; and his siblings, John Stalter and Barb Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dolly" L. Stalter (Kiss); his children, Michael Stalter (Sharon), Brian Stalter (Ami), Todd Stalter (Anne), Dennis Stalter (Ashley), Randy Stalter (Jessi), Lauryn Stalter (Brad) and Peter Stalter; his grandchildren, Thomas, Nicholas, Abby, Joseph, Aliyah, Ethan, Patrick, Nathan, Justin, Lily, Sam and Maisie James; his siblings, Paul Stalter (Laura), William Stalter (Carol), Audrey Krummert (late Fred), Phyllis Greb (Michael) and Lois Leonard (Joseph); and his son Jim.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, Inc. (388 Center Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Athanasius Church (7 Chalfonte Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229).
