He was predeceased by : his mother Anne Wessel. He is survived by : his wife Carole Jean Urban (Small); his children, Cheryl Segars (Joe) and Robin Marker; his grandchildren, William Bechtold (Raina), Ryan Segars (Casey), Jaclyn Bechtold (Andrew), Jesse Segars (Catherine), Miranda Marker and Madison Marker; his great grandchild Ansley Segars; and his sister Sandra L. Ewing (late William).

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation (388 Center Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15229). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
