He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Bissontz and Grace Bissontz (Brennan); and his grandson Shawn Froehlich. He is survived by : his wife Susan C. Bissontz (Cokley); his children, Erin Froehlich (Mike), Brian Bissontz, Dana Bissontz and Colin Bissontz (Becky); and his brother Daniel Bissontz (Celine). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
