He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Johnston and Hazel Brown; his former wife Dorothy A. Brown (Wyant); his wife Kathyrn Brown (Hughes); his son David Brown; and his grandson Billy Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Stewart (Donald) of West Sunbury and Tina Porter of West Sunbury; his stepchildren, Lea Stalker (Rick) of Hilliards, Kelley Carr (Tom) of Boyers, Lisa Padilla of Texas, Scott Reges of Eau Claire and Billy Reges (Julie) of Emlenton; his grandchildren, Nikki Brown, Melissa Marburger, Megan Confer, Derek Stewart and Amber Overly; and his siblings, Linda Kelly (Don) of Bruin and Kirby Johnston (Cassie) of West Sunbury. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the William F. Young Funeral Home (132 Main St, West Sunbury, PA 16061). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Concord Cemetery.
