He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dean and Mary Christy (Kreutz); his brother Terry Christy; and his nephew Devin M. Kirk. He is survived by: his sons, Dean Christy (Dixie) of Slippery Rock, Brian Christy (Rachel) of Butler and Wyatt Christy (Renee) of Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, Abby Christy, Nikki Huff, Taylor Christy, Grace Christy, Sam Christy and Devin Christy; his brother Arney Christy (Robin) of West Sunbury; and his close friend Nora Beachem. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home, Ltd. (127 W Jefferson St, Butler, PA 16003). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
