John Stanley Schatz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Stanley Schatz of West Springfield, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schatz and Margaret Schatz; his in-laws, Ralph and Betty Fails; his sisters-in-law, Judy Fawcett and Brenda Fails; his niece Tabitha Fawcett; and his nephew Shawn Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his sons, John Schatz (Carrie) and Kevin Schatz (Stephanie); his grandchildren, William, Mazzina and Gavin Schatz; his siblings, Robert Schatz (Cheri), Bonnie Allchin and Mary Moore; and his siblings-in-law, William Fails (Francine), Theresa Cznarnecki (Joe) and Becky Westgate (Barry).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Edder Funeral Home, Inc. (309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105, in his honor.
