She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Mendez and Rafaela Mendez (Gonzalez). She is survived by: her children, Hector S. "Tito" (Carolina Ramos), Joel A. "Bonco" (Ashley Ramos), Muhlenberg Twp and Maria Victoria Ramos; and her close friends, Ricardo Gonzalez, Josue D. Ramos and Michelle Seyfert. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous siblings and nieces and nephews.
