It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hammes (West Reading, Pennsylvania), born in Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 22, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Harcar and Stella Harcar (Golis); and her brothers, Andrew Harcar and James Harcar. She is survived by: her children, Margaret M. (Walter Saylor), Joseph E. (Elisa B.), Jennifer A. (Robert Miller) and Mt Penn; her sisters, Dorothy Straka (Harcar) and Stella Richards (Harcar); and her grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew Saylor, Nathan Hammes, Catherine and Gavin Miller.
