She was predeceased by: her father Ismael Rodriguez; her husband Luis E. Mercado; and her son Pedro Luis Mercado. She is survived by: her mother Dolores Rodriguez (Bentancourt) of Hatillo; and her children, Lourdes C. Mercado of Laureldale and Ernesto J. Mercado (Ivette). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
