John R. Bird Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Bird (West Reading, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Leroy and Mary C. Bird (Young); his son Dennis L. Bird; his sister Joan Brandt; and his grandson-in-law Kyle Pagerly.
He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Bird (Heffner); his son Jeffrey L. Bird (Cathy) of Denver, CO; his sisters, Sylvia Reynolds, Catherine Liss and Jane Gehman; his grandchildren, Andrea (Puddin), Alecia (Chad), Margaret and John Marten; and his great grandchildren, Savannah and Makenzie.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Stevens, PA.
