He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Matías and Carmen Mendoza. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Rodríguez Rosado; and his children, Jason, Josette, Raquel, Angèlica, Rebecca and Roberto. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
