He was predeceased by: his brothers, Joseph and Gary. He is survived by: his wife Deborah J. (Hill); his children, Joseph A. Bowers of Harrisburg, Mark J. Bowers (Susan) of Sinking Spring, Brenda L. Bowers of Wernersville and Joanne M. Koehler of Reinholds; his grandchildren, Alek, Kory (Tristyn), Erik, Will, Colleen, Nate, Alyssha, Carlie and Stephanie; his great grandchild Leah; his siblings, John Bowers (Lori) of Wyomissing, Bonnie Perlaki (Thomas) of Laureldale and Janice Konnick (Richard) of Shillington; his nieces, Allison and Stacy; and his nephew Nicholas.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gene's memory may be offered to a charity of choice.
