She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathryn (Dluhy) and Joseph Hovanec, Sr.; and her brothers, Joseph and John. She is survived by: her children, Jack P. Bednar, Jr. (Anne) of Harrisburg, Jeffrey N. Bednar of Harrisburg, Susan Fleischood (Patrick) of Columbia, SC, Karen Bednar of Mohnton, Mary Kay Gochenour (Ronald) of Poolesville, MD and Jane Keiper (Kip) of Shillington; her grandchildren, Kirk, Matthew, Mark, Kyle Fleischood, Jack (Jessica), Eric (Elura), Jessica, Ryan Keiper and Samantha Bednar; her great grandchildren, Morgan Fleischood, Zahara Gochenour and Joziah Gochenour; and her siblings, Jerry Hovanec of Washington, DC, Joan Cleveland of Pottstown and Ann Hovanec of Princeton, NJ..
