She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sperman and Caroline Sperman (Bacher); her former husband Robert Miller; and her stepdaughters, May Perry, Sylvia Schaeffer and Jewel Splain.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Shade; her sister Arlene Irwin (late Arthur Irwin) of West Lawn; her nephew Steve Irwin (Michelle); and her nieces, Carol Zimmerli and Linda Billman.
