With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Walter A. Kuharchik Sr. of West Pittston, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kuharchik and Mary Zasimovich Kuharchik; his daughter Jacqueline Marie Murphy; his granddaughter Haley Stuscavage; and his siblings, Donald Kuharchik, Thomas Kuharchik, Teresa McNeil and Marion Mallard.

He is survived by: his wife Rhoda; his children, Walter Kuharchik, Jr., Michael Kuharchik (Arlene), George Stuscavage (Tassey) and Dodie L. Stuscavage; his son-in-law Leonard Murphy; and his grandchildren, Ashley Kuharchik, Walter Kuharchik III (Kaithlyn), Sarah Kuharchik, Amber Baker (John), Stephanie Kuharchik, Allison Kuharchik, Michael Kuharchik, Jr., Ryan Murphy, Congressman-Elect Robert Bresnahan, Jr. (Chelsea Strub) and Megan Conforti (Angelo). He is also survived by 7 great- grand children and numerous, nieces' nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (35 William St, Pittston, PA 18640). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
