It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jane Chairge of West Pittston, Pennsylvania, born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Bernardi and Evelyn Dominick Bernardi; and her daughter-in-law Carlene Chairge. She is survived by: her husband Samuel J. Chairge, Sr.; her children, Sam Chairge (Rosemary), Lisa Yurek (Frank), Suzanne Saville (Michael) and Anthony Chairge (Kim); her granddaughter Deanna Appleton (Richard); her children, Tyler Saville (Nia), Ashlee Yurek, Jordan Saville (Danielle), Kara Kohler (Arthur), Samantha Slater (Brandon) and Frank Yurek, III; and her brother Harry Bernardi (Cathy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
