He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Katarsky and Albina Wirkowski Katarsky; his brothers, Nicholas Katarsky and Edward Katarsky, Sr.; his stepbrother John Zierowicz; his sisters, Anna Staron, Florence Katarsky, Stella Moyer and Victoria Gustitus; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Insalaco, Leonard Insalaco, Vincent Insalaco, Leonard Dixon and John Burke.
He is survived by: his sons, Norbert Katarsky, Jr. and Joseph Katarsky; his grandson Joseph Katarsky; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Insalaco, Carmella Dixon, Theresa Burke, Grace Dvornicky (Joseph), Lita Insalaco and Corinne Insalaco. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Parish, Church (605 Luzerne Ave, West Pittston, PA 18643).
