He is survived by: his wife Helen Brown Yakobitis; his sons, John, Jr. Duryea (Lisa), Raymond, Ronald, Gerard and Kenneth (Marybeth); his daughter-in-law Josette Clate Yakobitis; and his siblings, Edward and Eleanor Wheeler.
