He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chimento and Mary Martino Chimento; his wife Carmella Lombardi Chimento; and his son Anthony Chimento. He is survived by: his daughter Jolene; his great grandchild Ellie; his grandchildren, Judith Cefalo (Michael), Exeter, Jolene Chimento, Kevin Chimento (Robin), Carla Goode (Dustin) and Michael Cefalo (Jacqueline); his great grandchildren, Owen Goode and Elyiana Cefalo; and his siblings, James Chimento, Joseph Chiumento, Nicholas Chiumento, Antoinette Vidzar (Anthony) and Elizabeth Chimento. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family with a Mass of Christian Burial in Corpus Christi Parish and interment in West Pittston Cemetery.
