He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zappia and Florence Carangie Zappia; his wife Millie Tonsetic; his son Ronald Zappia; and his siblings, Carl, Bennie Zappia and Agnes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Zappia of West Pittsburg and Debbie Grafton (Harry) of New Castle; his daughter-in-law Eileen Cearfoss (Dale) of New Castle; his grandchildren, Kiley Grafton, Aaron Zappia and Ryan Grafton (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Jaxen and Jordan.
