He was predeceased by : his parents, Fredrick "Fritz" Penney, and Sara Mae Penney, Jr. (Weaver). He is survived by : his wife Karen Penney (Johns); his sons, Thomas L. Penney, Jr. (Michele) and Cameron Penney (Amy); his grandsons, Brandon J. Penney and Brady L. Penney; his sister Alice Penney; and his great-niece Skyllar Domonkos. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and cousins; and his faithful companion.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jr. Funeral Home (901 Vine St, West Newton, PA 15089). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 8:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the West Newton Volunteer Fire Company, 100 Riverside Dr., West Newton PA 15089.
