He is survived by: his wife Billie Jean Smouse (Erickson); his sons, Dr. Cody Robert Smouse (Jean), Travis Russell Smouse and Lane Thomas Smouse; his grandchildren, Bennett Scott Smouse and Taylor Rose Smouse; his brother Rex Smouse (Darcy); and his nieces, Chelsea Bithell (Chris) and Nicole Peeler (David).
